Improve a result without starting over
Retry and adjust: how to move a creation closer to what you had in mind while keeping what already works.

1. Decide what is actually wrong
Look at the result and pick the single most important problem: the light, the framing, the mood, or the subject. Fixing one thing at a time is what keeps the good parts.
2. Retry before you rewrite
Retry runs the same description again. Two identical requests can produce different takes, so it is the cheapest way to test whether the words are the problem or the luck was.
3. Use a style button to change the treatment
The style buttons under a result (Again, More real, More artistic, Cuter, Cinematic) keep your subject and change the treatment. Use them when the composition works and the look is off.
4. Animate only when the still is right
Turning an image into a video multiplies whatever the frame already does. Get the still to a place you like first; animating a near-miss produces a moving near-miss.
5. Keep the thread
Every attempt is saved as its own creation, so an earlier take is still in your creations when you want it again.
6. Know when to stop
If two attempts in a row miss for different reasons, the description is doing too much. Cut it back to the subject and the light, then build up again from a result you like.
